Early in her career, she spent nearly a decade as an Assistant County Attorney handling complex civil litigation, establishing deep courtroom experience across state and federal venues. Her regulatory command was further honed as General Counsel for the Minnesota Department of Commerce, where she led a multidisciplinary legal team advising cabinet-level government officials on complex enforcement, consumer protection, public policy, and administrative matters.

Complementing her litigation and public-sector regulatory leadership, Kathleen has served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary, establishing and overseeing legal, compliance, and equity frameworks for high-growth, investor-backed organizations.
